I bought this shirt 4 years ago in a size medium and it fit great. This year I bought a replacement shirt one because the old one looked ratty. Bought the same size (medium) in the same color (black). The fit seemed completely different. It fit tight through the chest, back/shoulders and even through the length of my arms and wrists. I haven't gained weight so something has changed with the design of the shirt. The fabric felt different too. More plasticky and without the same stretchy feel. Hard to explain. I ended up returning it. I am going to try a different brand as for the price, I just don't think the quality is there anymore. Also, just an FYI that even with prime I had to wait about a week to get it. Overall, disappointed.This material is semi transparent. I did not use it, as I was expecting a fleece type “hoodie” sweatshirt. This is NOT that.Love this shirt already. The fit is perfect. I ordered an XL in Black. I wear XL in most shirts and it is not clingy or see-through. Nice, bizarrely lightweight material that keeps you warm in A/C and cool in hot weather. Might order a second one.I just wore this on a 37-mile, 4-Day backpacking trip in the Wind Rivers, and it worked great and didn't smell even after 4 days. I was never too hot in it, and I felt like it gave me great protection. Love the hood and the ponytail slit! It is super lightweight and feels like it should fall apart, but it didn't. I did get one snag in it, so I hope that isn't something that keeps happening.If you want to protect your arms from the sun, this product is great. It is very lightweight (I bought it for a backpacking trip) and breathes. It also has a hood for extra warmth or to protect your neck from the sun.the material is perfect - its so soft, light weight and keeps moisture away!I have bought several of these shirts and tell all my friends to buy one. It is extremely lightweight and wears like a second skin and it means you no longer have to coat your arms and neck in sticky chemical sunscreen. One of my favorite outdoor adventure pieces.I'm often between sizes in technical gear. I'm 5'7", 135#, yoga build. I got this in a medium but am sending it back for a small. The fabric is perfect for a base layer - light and warm - the right weight for trail running in Central Virginia during colder months with a mid-weight jacket.
